Wrong unless you have a huge tank, in this case substrate is quarter inch pebbles at best down to sand.

Fish are doing great :) I'm tired after a long day at work... ah well :) How about you?

Just bought two weird little gouramis for a pound each... quite peculiar... all grey (not silver though) with a black spot near the tail... one of them seems to have a deformed lower jaw... they were the only two of that kind in a group of dwarf orange ones... the LFS owner didn't know what they were and was happy to sell them to me... I thought they look weird and would be a nice with the pacu...who is now ignoring them totally...
 
For now they are very shy and hide in a dark corner near the powerfilter... I'll try to get some pictures...
