Anyone have any thorough keeping info or experience with Laudakia brachydactyla, "Giant Painted Agama"?
Saw some one kingsnake and I really like them. Can't seem to find any decent info on them out there.

Thouse are really nice :D I once had a big male and he was just a scaly slug. The keeping its practicly identical to bearded dragon care except that the vegetable proporcion of the diet its much smaller, mine only ate dandilion flowers ocasionaly, the rest its locusts, crickets, mealworms, etc. Also they dont need nigth time heat but they do need every bit of heat during the day(of corse aim for a temperature gradient with much cooler areas). Substrate normal sand. Also they love to climb more then your average beardy so put some big logs on the cage;)

Most arid land Agamids are pretty similar in care...keep em hot, use UV, feed em bugs (and some veggies).

I did not find Laudakia s. brachydactyla, these are Laudakia stellio stellio so they are less colorful but I am excited about them nonetheless. Maybe I can work up a caresheet in the future.

Actualy that species comes from a very similar climate of yours, once it is stablished you can house him outdoors at least part of the year wich is great for its health and colors
