http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hmr-B_JZTnE&feature=youtube_gdata_playerGuys I SERIOUSLY Need this solved TONIGHT. The tank is ~2-8 feet from my bed (edge of bed to my pillow)and I don't want to wake up to see momma wolf spider with a million babies on her back and a nest the size of a full grown rtc.

Speaking of wolf spiders who wants to see a full grown female with BABIES! **WARNING** video is EXTREMELY SCARY 0.0 :jawdrop:

I SWEAR their IS a spider-like web in this tank. I PROMISE, I don't joke about these things. Seriously though. Back to WHAT IS IT?

Fungal filaments. I wasn't joking either (about cleaning the tank, the "clown puke gravel" comment was a joke).

Pardon?

The "spider web" like things you see are most likely strands of fungus. Their presence is a good indicator that you need to clean your tank. "Clown puke" is what many people call garish multi-colored gravel.

mr biggs,
pics of your water changing hazmat suit, plz.
?

perhaps its a blackworm. Not a parasite at all. I think if its a blackworm the bigger problem is the clown gravel setup.... tiger shrimps? Circus theme going? Let the blackworm be the ringmaster.

This is a conspiracy theory :)
