Just add filters they aren't that expensive. Filtraction is a easy simple fix. Mine is in 75 gallon for the time being and I have 3 large filters. My filters are doing around 1,050 gallons a hour on my 75. Yes it is slightly loud and in my bedroom. Plus at home test kits are only like 35$. Get it and test your own water and give some details of what you come up with.

I dont mind spending the money, but id prefer it to be quiet, it is (literally) 2 feet from my bed, and i already have 3 tanks in my room.

Ya but u can make a sump for a lot less. I made a 35gal one for my 100 grow out in 1 afternoon for $40(not including pumps)

Just a couple quick pics of my setup. And its close to my bed as well. And i sleep ok and like i said 3 filters and around 1,000 gallons a hr.

Poor water quality .... saying "its good" doesn't mean much.
What are the actual ppm test results for Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate ?

If you don't know then answer then you can't say your water is "good"
