Gill rot on Sevrum? Need some help

I never noticed it before but obviously something is wrong but I'm not really sure what to do. I've never dealt with this or something like it and would like some feedback.

couldn't manage another picture but circled what im talking about in comparison to the second picture(other side of the fish) there is a very noticeable difference

Sorry ,yes I saw the difference after I responded.
Is the red spot an ulcer?
It doesn’t look as if the gill itself has been affected unless I’m not seeing it correctly.
Does the fish act normally?

I was thinking that too been trying to find and old photo or video but no luck for now I guess ill just monitor the tank

This was where I was going with it.
I just wanted to make sure before giving advice.
It looks to be just a difference in the gill plate.
If the gill is unaffected then there really nothing to do.
