Went to the springs today and caught a whole bunch of mud turtles and a brown water snake. Just thought I would share with you guys.

nice. surprised the hand holding the watersnake isn't covered in blood though...:nilly:
 
The water is very clear and there are tons of fish to be seen around the banks and stuff. The reason I think the water snake didn't bite is because the water is also very cold and it made him pretty slow to respond.
 
next time in Fl I plan I on visiting there too cool, any leaches I have a rational fear of them

ah, now it makes sense. hold a watersnake that way around here and you'll look like you're wearing a red glove...
 
haha, no leaches, I have been many times and not one of my friends or myself ever saw a leach.
