You definitely should, I don't know what your stock is ATM but they wouldn't bother ATF's or anything else fast, mine is kept with a ray and he hardly ever bothers it at all, maybe for a few minutes a day he nudges him a bit lol really personable fish, mine follows my finger if I move it along the glass

they do eat smaller fish. i threw some feeders in, the giraffe suck them in but did not expel them out. all went into his belly lol.

beside that, they are very active fish. constantly moving. i wouldn't recommend him with other btm dweller, i notice they have the tendency to constantly nudging my rays n bichirs. kinda irritating

Love giraffe cats. Mine was only a baby at 4", then I picked up some mystery parasite or virus etc that wiped out pretty much the whole tank. Including the giraffe, 2 ornate cats, 3 eel tail banjos etc. Absolutely gutted!

Very nearly quit altogether after that but I'm slowly rebuilding my stock and keep looking at the giraffe cats in the LFS. Won't be long and I'll get another one!
