she saw on google that most die from cars blah blah, shes not gona let it go :sigh:. Looks like my 120gallon is gona have a freaken turt in it

When I had a yard (I live in an apt now) I kept mine in a large kiddie pool with dirt and various natural decor. He was much happier there than in one of my aquariums. 
Looks like a Florida Box Turtle to me. If you plan on keeping it, you should construct an outdoor pen. Check out this thread of mine I did about housing box turtles outdoors.

an outdoor pen would be better, a box turtle will scratch the hell out of your 120g even if it is glass.
Yeah, it's a Florida box turtle. You should know however it's illegal to sell WC Florida boxies in Florida but I'm not sure if it's illegal to collect. I would look into it and I would build him a pen outdoors. Most land turtles do horrible in glass enclosures. Good luck!
1-1/2lbs turtle meat
2qts beef stock
2tsp Tabasco
1 large onion, chopped coarsely
2 ribs celery, chopped coarsely
1/4 can tomato puree
Put above ingredients into a 4uart stock pot and bring to a boil. Lower heat to simmer, and cook for 1 hour. Remove meat and de-bone, cut meat in half inch pieces and return to pot.
Then add:
2 bay leaves
2tsp mace
1-1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/3cup sherry
Let cook for another hour.
Then add:
2 hard cooked egg whites chopped
1/2 cup parsley
Serve and enjoy!

Nice looking Florida box...I've only ever seen a few up at this turtle breeder's place in the mountains.
