My wife rocks I got my bonus and she made me buy a 120g tank. I was hesitant to spend the money but she said just get it Her only rule is I do all the maintenance...not a problem there.

My fiance likes the fish ALMOST as much as I do. He's happy cuz we agreed on a big discus tank in the future. But I want a bigger pond than he does. He's learning the water change process/schedule and will help me out with the changes while I am at work. We love the same types of fish, and are both prone to rescuing the gimps. We both stare for hours lol. As for my MFKing, I do it at work. He's handy tho. So when I bought my 150 it had a leak, so he resealed it for me and rebuilt the stand with me.

Just wondered what your g/bfriends think about your hobby.
My gf dislikes my obsession with mfk(got to check it everyday at least once), aquariums and fish. although she does like my fish just not me obsessing

My wife does not mind at all. She loves our pacu and her betta. My wife even adopted another pacu and she named him Frank. Obsession? Yes, it can be, but there are many other things that could be worse. Enjoy fish and taking care of them.

me and my partner are always arguing about our fish we always try to find small imperfections about our fishkeeping and then pick on each other about it. but that meant i got nice eheim heavy duty filtration from him when i needed it for my micro tank haha so im not complaining AT ALL

I couldn't deal with that if my bf had a clue about fish ( which he doesn't ) but tell's me i'm cool just because he feels sorry for me that i'm a geek freak, I would get annoyed if someone told me how to keep MY fish, in fact all my animals, he can go off with the lads to badminton or whatever he does and spend money on his car sometimes when we are at the pet shop I get him 20 quid just to get rid of the bugger, here go buy yourself something pretty from halfords.
