Thanks! Yeah, I didn't want it to stick out like a sore thumb. I've seen some awful stands as well so I am super careful when I do mine. This one is actually rebuilt. Stupid me forgot to take a picture before we started. The plywood was peeling, it had no sides, it had no doors! It had been hideously stained. I stripped the top and we relaminated the front panel so the grains didn't match anymore hence the paint. I can't find any door handles like I want so we're going without. I think I like that better anyway!
When I've got enough posts to add a link to the thread my build is on I'll post a link! It's on another forum.
Okay everyone the tank in in the house, leak tested, up, running, and scaped! The Holidays were busy and I ended up having to have two surgeries. I'm all healed up now and the tank is doing well.
It will have fish in it soon. It's almost done cycling. You can read the whole thing here...

The jelly-fish were Christmas gifts and the family kept wanting to get fish in there (fishless cycling) so I put the fake jelly fish in to shut them up.
It will have fish in it soon. It's almost done cycling. You can read the whole thing here...
