Whats the harm in this? I Just gave them some nerds, they love it. Im not talking candy like shrimp, but once or year or something like that.

excesive sugar, and god knows what kind of preservatives and artificial crap could potentially be harmful or deadly to them.
i wouldent do it either. they will be just as happy with some live blackworms or fresh salmon or even uncooked fish scraps from your dinner or something as a "candy".
my oscar and red devil absolutely love fresh bluefish or bass scraps and insides. better than any human candy ever could be.

its not good for people, i should imagine its no good for fishy friends either. i doubt that theres a candy shop in the wild rivers!
i also feed my devil scraps, she loves them, but not all the time, i believe to much could be a bad thing.

I would advise against it strongly. Chocolate can kill a dog, fish have much less complex systems and are probably far more susceptible to harm from our foods.

Candy worms? There was an episode of "How it's Made" on the Discovery Channel about them. They claimed that many people use candy worms as fishing bait...
I've feed my fish ALLLLLLL kinds of bizarre human food. I don't think its likely that any food that won't kill YOU will kill your fish (I'm sure there are exceptions as with chocolate and dogs, birds and avocado, etc.). I certainly don't suggest candy as a staple diet but I really doubt throwing your fish some nerds for your amusement will have any serious side effects.
