My feelings where not hurt it just made me realize how nice of a forum we are here. I have killed several of my pets due to my own carelessness and or ignorance. Never once was I called out for not knowing what I was doing, rather advice was given and help rendered. I always try to think things out more now, and pay more attention; however fish find ways of getting hurt I never thought of.
I suppose your right wasn't overly harsh, I just felt that he could have been more understanding, and on top of that he didn't really give me advice like everyone else. He just said hes its bad, no more details about that and then went on a tangent about back feeding Kinda goes without saying that you don't know what your doing when your asking for help.
I guess I was upset because I asked about the mixing of the water, and not this back feed siphoning. I think all people here who run a sump have learned their lesson, or learned from others about siphon breaks.
