Which Cichlids have you witnessed being a glass biter? I've have had a large Jag do it, and have seen Red Devil's, Is there any other cichlids notorious for this? Anyone ever see a GT perform this act?

My jag, my oscar, my vieja, even my big frontosa!! I need to try to get pics of them. Here is my oscar charging the glass:

I've got a few that would do that. Much like the oscar posted above, mine is bad for attacking the glass at random...as well as other inanimate objects. With the glass, at least he may have the excuse of seeing his reflection. But I'm pretty sure that he can't see his mirror image in the huge chunk of petrified wood in his tank! I've also got a Midas that is bad for attacking the glass. I've got a video of it on youtube...but I cheated a bit. He's going at my hand, not at the glass itself. I've also got some vids of my oscar flipping out at my girlfriend, but have not put it online yet...I should really do that tonight, it was awesome. Anyway, here's my midas biting...

I've never had any of my personal fish flare at me but many would come to the glass to seemingly beg for food. try a managuense or Amph. cintrinellum for common fish.

i had a GT that was a crazy glass biter, he was alone so i think that made him more interactive with me. he would splash water all over anyone who got near his tank.he died at 7 years of age. that was pretty upsetting because he was more like a pet.
