Who here has Glass Cages aquariums above 300 gallons? What is your experience with them, good or bad?

I know Glass Cages tanks aren't exactly pretty, I have a 50g acrylic from them, but I'm worried about the reliability more than anything.
300g+ on the floor is a lot different than 50g on the floor, so even though my 50g works great I don't think it's a very good indication of the quality of the larger tanks.
I've seen that there are some very bad reviews of their large glass tanks, but I wasn't sure if that carries over to the acrylic also.

I looked at Tenecor but their prices seemed a bit outrageous. I understand that they make beautiful tanks but it still seems like you're partially paying for the name *shrug*. Truvu was a bit lower, but still kind of pricey. Seaclear custom makes very large tanks and seems to be quality but doesn't have pricing on their website.
Anyhow, if it comes down to reliability problems I'll definately pay more, but if the price difference is more of an asthetic thing I'd be willing to go cheaper.

Yeah, I've seen that the glass tanks have pretty sketchy quality, which makes me nervous, but I can't really find any reviews on the acrylic.

I'm thinking either the acrylic has had less problems than their glass or people just aren't buying that many. I guess it's also combined with the fact that they haven't been doing acrylic for as long.

o my.is there a link to that ordeal.

No one has a big acrylic from them? That's kind of surprising.

Does anyone have a larger Seaclear that they're happy/not happy with?

Well glass cages has shows in St Louis a lot, which is just a couple of hrs north of here, so they'd be easy to deal with. Not sure I'd trust a 300+g from them though, especially since I may be looking for a couple (one for my arow and one for a large reef). The latter would especially be disappointing if there were problems since a little bit of saltwater on the floor smells bad and messes stuff up much less 300g worth. That's not even counting the thousands of dollars in stock that would likely be lost.

Don't know who did the acrylic for bass pro shops in springfield, I'll try to call and ask. I would guess it's pretty likely one of the bigger companies like tenecor or seaclear.

Couldn't find a website for them. Not sure what shipping or delivery to here would be either since that's pretty far.
