I just got one of these things in the mail and i cant get anything to come through it. I even tried hooking it to an air pump...... I am using diy co2 sugar and yeast in a 2 liter. I had it hooked to an air stone but bubbles were too big. but I cant get the glass diffuser to work so i rehooked my air stone and its bubbling again. huge bubbles going right to the surface..... any help would be greatly appreciated..

are you using an old airstone?
when they get old they start making larger bubles. try putting the stone under the filter return to get bubble to disperse thoughout the tank.

Diffusers are not meant to have large bubbles. Put the co2 on again, and since you are using reaction co2, give it several hours. Look very close, you may see some VERY small bubbles. Glass diffusers are more so meant to be used with pressurized co2.
