glass or plastic?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yea its a toss up. durability, not much extra for everythign else, or more fragile, but plenty of extra money for filtration, lighting, deocorations, etc.....
once bought and placed, hope it won't move for years....if ever..lol
I was thinking of making it my FW community tank...

Personally i prefer glass. My tanks all three are glass have survived flying tonka trucks and cereal bowls. by the time your kids get big enough to do any damage to your tanks they should have been taught that they can break and if they are the cause you will feed them to the surviving fish:eek: ....(j/k a lil:ROFL: )

sounds like a warzone...lol
no kids yet, but without having any yet, currently though my wife wouldn't agree, I would gladly feed em to a surviving monster if they bust a tank. Course I need a monster big enough to handle the little squirt!

There is no reason glass should break.

Aslong as you are careful around it etc....

If the tank is built correctly it shouldn't give way either.
