HAHA omg, this is amazing! All his stuff is found in Home Depot...the glass is 3/32" thick and really cheap, the glass cutting kit is $14 and very easy to use. Got all that stuff too so I could section off my 30g sump.

No, the glass does not need to be tempered. Just make sure you ease the edges of the glass to prevent sharp edges before using them.
