Does anyone have an idea of how thick the glass would need to be for a tank that is 6ft tall, 8ft wide, and 4ft deep? Multiple glass panels eill be used, as well as almost excessive amoumts of bracing.
Six feet of water is big-wallet territory. Two 1" thick sheets of glass laminated together; tempered would be a good idea. Or one sheet of 3" thick acrylic.
This is a bit of a research compilation for building your own glass or acrylic tank. Please feel free to post up another great site or thread that discusses the same topic. The more we have listed, the better we can compare all of them and come up with some solid guidelines. Thanks
