Where is the cheapest place to get some glass tops? Should i go to a local store and have glass cut to size or is there a website i can order them from? thanks, Nick

I went to home depot and I just got a big piece of glass for 10 dollars, and a glass cutting kit for 4. So for 14 dollars, I got a glass cutting kit, new tops for my 75 and all of the cuts on my hands were free!:headbang2

Glass cutting kit? What is that? How does it work?, Where can i get the plastic hinges to make little doors out of glass?

Its usually right next to the glass. Id still ask an employee tho. Its a special marker, cutting oil, and the "blade". It was around 5 dollars. Im not sure if this glass is non tempered. Ask someone. If its tempered it will just shatter everywhere when you attemt to drill it. So definatly ask.

Its not really a blade. Its this thing that scores tha glass then you take both sides of the glass and bend it and it pops loose.

No not bend. Theyre glass im sure of it.

Its hard to explain what I mean by bend. Here I got this off some website.
"Grasp each side of the cut as if you were trying to break a potato chip in half with two hands. All it takes is minor pressure. It is all in the wrist action. Your elbows do not move. Simply twist your wrists (your right wrist will turn clockwise and your left will turn counterclockwise). Imagine that the score you made is half the depth of the glass and now you need to "open it up" by using the score as a weak spot."

AIR is correct. They make a tool to score the glass and after scoring it you set the glass that you have scored along a straight edge like a table top and then snap the part that you scored. It will make a clean crisp edge. But i dont know how to make it so the edges are smooth so you dont get cut. Its basically just like cutting ceramic tiles. Score it and snap it.... PRESTO
