For very large tanks its better to go acrylic, my glass tank weighed 700 lbs empty!!!!!!!!! Of course its beautiful but a lot of work and time to deliver and then put on stand after leveling etc.

If you have a GC tank make sure it is either in your garage or unfinished basement with an alarm setup to let you know when it breaks so you can save your fish
