Does anyone know about glofish I am new at this and I think my fish are having babies.
Treat them like you do with zebra danios. They're just genetically modified versions of zebra danios and can breed just as easily.

Glofish?? Do you mean the fluorescent danios??
Its illegal to breed them. So don't do it, or don't tell people you are doing it.:naughty:
their breeding and care are similar to regular danios. however, not 100% of the fry will be glofish. some will be regular danios.

The OP lives in Minnesota. I don't think it is illegal there. Neither do I believe, with the widespread supply, that the fry are still patented and cannot be distributed. This is difficult to regulate.

I don't want to sell them nor do I am trying to breed I just want to make sure I am taking care of them properly so that if I do get babies I don't kill them, Plus I wanna know how often I feed them I was told a bunch of stuff and I am not sure how to take care of them, Like I said I am new to having fish and I really like fish and don't wann be just some stupid person who thinks that having fish is easy and then end up killing them all.

yeah, there has been lots of polemics about that fish. i had some but all died after a tragic tank negligeance :(

Feeding every other day is fine. It's up to you. You could do once a day daily if you can do 2-3 water changes a week depending on the bioload of your tank. This can be determined by your water parameters such as ammonia, nitrites and nitrates. Nitrates shouldn't exceed 40. The lower, the better.

Two of my fish died of TB which I did not know that fish could get that. the others are good and one looks prego I just wann know that I don't kill any more cause I really like them.

Thank you that helps a lot. How often do I clean tank I like to clean it every 3 to 4 weeks cause the water never looks dirty is that right?
partial water change every two weeks is better than a more drastic water change each month
