Get a toxic waste barrel in there also. Maybe a guy with cement shoes.

go for it and we want pics lotsa pics.will pick your tank as this month or next's months tank of the month contest

If this works it could make for a separate tank of the month contest, regular totm and totm with lights off... I hope this works, it has potential to be either really cool or a complete bust, but I'm leaning towards awesome!

Your input has been really encouraging! Im glad people seem interested in this idea. :D
I dug the 55gal out of storage and am about to give it a good scrub down. I will be picking up the styrofoam and cement in a little bit. I want the best quality glow powder money can by. I know krylon makes spray on glowpaint but im sure its not all that great. Im going to have to do a little more research to make this foolproof.

I was also considering the UV method with UV paints and UV lights plus the UV blacklight would light up some fish like axolotls that BlackShark posted. Thats another route, But I like the idea of laying in my bed just watching the colors fade and it not being toxic looking at all points. Plus good lights on GID surface would really make that glow when I turned off the light.

I will continue to post updates as I go along in hopes that somebody else will give it a shot and maybe improve on my ideas. You will have to wait till after september because im going for the tank of the month :headbang2
So grab your  folks.

done right and with some luck.it will be awesome :headbang2

Thanks for going through with it.

That's awesome. You need freaky fish for that, glow in the dark like others suggested, or maybe see-through. Or ones that look like science projects, like elephantnose fish or BGK fish. Or jellyfish. Those would be awesome.

Yeah, try it on a 10 gallon tank and put some glowlite tetras in it. (or whatever ones glow in the dark)
