Glowing fish tank

there is no fish that glow in the dark without genetic engineering. he meant fish like neon tetras and "glofish." fish that will glow under a blacklight. fish with neon colors.

neon tetras+glofish= ill be back in 1min with some if they acutally glow?!?!?(With black light)

those genetically modified fish only glow when a certain light wavelength hits them

no not at all the genes that they put in the fish are naturally found in flourescent jelly fish

they are harmless protein that possess natural flourescence

when light its the protein it excites it, causing it to emit a different type of light

theres tons of kinds theyve made now all derived from the original Green Flourescent Protein (GFP)

ive seen pink, yello, orange, purple you name it..

I have a fake plant that is glow in the dark, it's made for an aquarium too

you may be able to get a glow in the dark paint and clear coat the object, but I don't know what clear coat would be aquarium safe, maybe even some clear silicone ?
