super glue can also be used to glue together cuts in people..doctors use it too when a cut or incision is too small to suture.

This is basically what New-Skin it. Just a slightly different version of super glue.

I keep superglue in my first aid kit. that and some quick clot will get you along way.

have you thought about using silicone... it works great for sticking sand and rocks to acrylic/pvc caves/hides... IMO its much easyer to work with than hotglue and super glue.. true it does take a day or so to cure/dry but its so much nicer to work with..

I've glued small driftwood to slate, and it usually lasted about one month before detaching. I would try super glue.
