You stated your own contradiction. Your right it wasn't tested for but it certainly was illegal. Therefore he cheated. If you want to debate that it should have been more harshly tested for, I'm with you, but steriods are (and were) illegal. Not to mention that steriods are illegal in general. Just because the MLB doesnt (although they did) state it, their still illegal. If a player kills someone he can't use the defense that the MLB doesn't have it in their rules that you cant murder, because its illegal no matter what.
I, am a Braves fan. You all have to keep in mind that alot of the pitchers that he hit home runs off of were on steriods too. I would like to know what's going through Hanks mind. Did he cheat? Is it cheating trying to improve yourself. Hell, I take vitamans, does that make me a cheater?

In the U.S. steroids/anabolic hormones are illegal to use w/o a prescription, if a Doctor gives you a prescription fine your cool.. Major sporting associations however have banned their use altogether by their athletes, baseball was a little slow in defining their standards, I'm waiting for steroid testing in golf or tennis next...What about all the athletes that played before The U.S. Anabolic Steroid Control Act of 1990, should there be an asterik's by their names in football and baseball record books. Because we weren't testing back then.
Saw it last night, it was awsome! And I dont care if he used Steroids or not back then, I don't think he is now, and furthermore, they may make you strong, but it all comes down to pure skill in the end. And I think it's cool that the pitcher Mike Bacsik (Jr.) who threw the pitch to Bonds last night when he made his record hit, was the son of Mike Bacsik Sr., who threw to Hank Aaron when he made his record hit.
