Yeah, Lilly got stomped, giving up 7 homers to the Reds. Which is actually a Major League record. The Reds are the first team to ever have two, seven homer games against one team in a season.
... But, the Cubs are STILL in first in the NL Central! Where are the Cards???

... And, the Cubs are only one game short of the best record in baseball this season. The rays have the same number of losses and only one more win.

The sad part is, it was '47, I believe, and they didn't even win! 1908 was the last championship for the Cubs!

Yeah, I went back and edited it after I re-read it. I meant went, not won.....It clicked in my head when I fixed it that it had been 100 years!! That's a long freaking time
