FishGoneWild: because of Toyin, US is actually the 2nd best country to be in if you're into bichirs, after Japan. Not including Japan, US has the widest/most complete selection of wild bichir species/variants, and they are available in the US a lot sooner than any other countries, and we have some of the best prices too.
