He is very cool, loves shrimp,earthworms,silversides will take them out of my fingers, randomly eats any small fish under 3" in there. Loves live shrimp the most, pending ID I just call him Gordon.
Looks like it could be a tank goby glossogobius giuris. The river goby i was thinking of at first was glossogobius callidus not awaous banana got the scientific names mixed up. He may be a little to big to be a river goby unless hes just very big or old. So im going to say tank goby maybe they are bigger than river gobys but they both look like yours to me.
Could be G. giuris supposed to occur here, colour is bit different to any pics I could find but taxonomy matches, references say they grow to 50 cm, hope so.
are you sure its a Goby at all?...are its lower fins(underneath) fused or are are there two?..if there are two like little legs its a type of sculpin..if its fused to one like another large fin than goby.
