Knight gobies can live and thrive in fresh or brackish water, just saying that now. They an spawn in both, but are found more often in fresh. They can be very aggressive or very chill. I had one for five years and it killed many things, including some African cichlids that were 3 times it's size. A friend of mine had one that wouldn't eat feeders, it was that shy. But they are easy to keep, and prefer harder, more alkaline water. 20 gallons is a minimum. They aw really amazing fish.
