Going Back In Time ( Prehistoric Sea Creatures ) LOAD WARNING!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Great pics. In the 2nd group of pics, 3rd pic down, is a pic of a trio of Xiphactinus audax (looks like a toothed tarpon) and a Protosphyraena nitida (looks like a toothed marlin). I have fossils of the mandibles of a Xiphactinus and a rostrum (w/teeth) and maxillae of a Protosphyraena. I'll see if I can locate them. Here's a pectoral fin from a Protosphyraena juvie. Fins have been recovered that measure 5 feet in length.

Anyone got an extra 10g to put one of these in?

I am glad you guys liked it. Basically I search name lists of prehistoric sea creatures and then look for the names online as well as in yahoo and google image search. Magnificent!:headbang2
