Going carp fishing for the first time!!!

hey i am going carp fishing for the first time and would like to know the best way to catch them like what bait to use and any other advise that would be helpful!!! thanks

bait up with mashed bread, sweetcorn and boiled hemp seed if you can find it. Use worms or sweet corn over top on the hook.

I caught a grass carp on a rotten strawberry. But bread and corn usually do the trick for me

If you fish a place that isnt heavily pressured, corn and bread will be fine.

Dont forget to kill the stinky ugly bastards once you land them!

Canned Corn. Also chum a lil with the corn. They will come fast.

Thats exactly what I did, rig it on the bottom. My buddy and I had four poles out and we were doubling up like crazy. I caught one pushing 20lbs. Very fun to catch on light tackle.

Yeah, they're fun, I haven't caught that much, cause I prefer more active fishing , like going along river with spinning rod and get some nice trout.

When I caught this one, it was quite a surprise, cause aim wasn't to get these babies, but I got one. It was about 7.5 lb, quite a while back. it was a great fight and one of reasons were, that I had light tackle.
