I will be getting my 33g tank hopefully in the next few days and am wondering what I will need to do to get this tank up and running. How many heaters will I be needing, will one be just fine or will I have to upgrade to 2 heaters, what type of filter would be recommended for this tank?

i like the penguin HOB series, personally but you can prettymuch do whatever you want with filtration. i alsolike doing a RUG setup w/mech filtration of some kind (best bio along with best mech.)

one heater about 200 watts.. (lower watts means that it take a longer time to heat up your water)... bigger filter, go with one that is recommended for about 40 gallons thats pretty much all you need.. unless you have a special fish you want to host

I am considering a dragon goby, unfortunately it looks as though it will be purchased from walmart as I cant find them at any other petstore where I live. Anything different with tank if I purchase this fish?

brackish or fresh? drag.gobies are usually kept brackish.
you could do dwarf puffers, a convict pair, live bearers, planted community, dwarf cichlids, ......
there's more im just tiredof writing.

Well currently I have 2 mollies that are about 4 months old in freshwater, so I will have to make them adjust to brackish water. How do I do this, just add that salt (forget the name of it) to the water daily?

no i wouldn't do it that way. they (idk who they is) say never to put sry salt intoyou tank mix it with a little water and SLOWLY raise the salinity of your tank. some poeple do this in 6 hours, i like 3 days. but that's for salt water, not brackish.
get instant ocean salt. just trust it better, i guess.

Is this is the stuff your talking about?

and then just follow the directions on the container to get brackish?

yes.
if for some reason they'reout of Instant Ocean, and you see Reef Crystals, don't buy that. it's essentially the same but more $$$ b/c of the trace elements it has for corals and such. just come backfor IO.
