Going Hap fishing

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Sorry, i promised my friend I wouldn’t share the location.

That’s being a good friend. Most fisherman hold their fishing spots pretty tight under lock and key. Haha. I know I don’t like telling people about my favorite lake. Too many fisherman there as it is?

That guy is gorgeous btw!

When I was catching snakes in FloridA (has to be at least 10 years ago) , I looked down into a waterway and saw a stunning festae and multiple oscars. I remember thinking how amazing my aquarium would be if I lived in the state, lol.

I’ve seen those black dots on fish before, but I don’t know what exactly they are either. That’s a cool sunfish tho. I also think there’s a difference in the parasites that are in a large natural lake compared to a small man made pond in a park in the inner city, could be wrong on that tho

With regards to black spot disease, I bought multiple fish from a Florida fish farm and infested 2 tanks. Very difficult to get rid of - eventually all the fish from that order and anything in those 2 tanks were lost.

Was the black spot what killed them?

While I can’t be certain, that was my hypothesis because that was the only external feature and it kept spreading to the other fish not from the farm as well. No other external evidence of disease. If I remember, I treated for everything but no success.
