Why don’t you just hire someone to feed the fish? They could also call you in case of an emergency like power outage.

Vacation time scares the s*** out of me. the Fish would be fine 10 days no food. I’d do a water change the day before then one big feeding the day of

I had an auto feeder on an oscar tank and when I came back home after a week the entire feeder was in the tank and the tanks was absolutely gross. Oscar was fine though, I guess he was able to jump out and grab the feeder lol

My Oscars did that too. The feeder (Eheim) was only in the tank for a few minutes and survived the ordeal.
