This same thing happened to me I had a 14" GATF that would only eat live and live only until I went out of town for 10 days and was pounding massivore sadly he jumped last year

Just don't feed til you get back a week without feeding is nothing to fish.

Went to Florida this past May for 8 days and fishes were fine without feeding.

I left my juvenile Ompoks for one week without having anyone feed them and they were perfectly normal. Usually fish should be fine going that long without food.
