Going out of town?

I've left my polys for 3 weeks without issue. I usually prepack food for every few days, then whoever is looking after the house can't overfeed
My strategy as well. Big WC just before leaving then a very reduced feeding schedule. I do up baggies of food and have a friend feed every 4 days. This is for trips of a week or more. Anything less they fast.
Far better to under feed than over feed when you are away

My kids named her(?) "Snowflake" when I got her nearly 4 years ago, and she was only 3" long. I think she's more of a "Blizzard", now though

I believe they average about 24" in the wild, but I'm pretty sure mine has reached it's max size.
Love the giant gourami. Going to have to convince the wife of a bigger tank than my 135 first. THat may take a few years

When we have first time visitors, to the house, peoples' jaw literally drop when they see this monstrosity swimming up to them, hoping to get fed. LOL. Most people have just never seen anything, any where near that big, in a home aquarium.
They are amazing fish. Not to derail but what size tank do you keep him in?
