Going to buy a varanid

so, i guess nobody read the part about him putting a beardie into a tank that is only 1.4 feet wide. beardies can get over 2 feet long, and they need a minumum tank of 5x3x3 feet. beastruler, you need to either get a smaller lizard, or a much larger tank

no way I would choose that beast for a beginner.
as for temperament its not a bad choice but not for requirements and size. They are semi-aquatic and get really large.
I personally would choose a black throat. they get rather large and have a nice temperament also. however for a black throat I would suggest a minimum 4'x8' footprint for an adult.
