Going to Europe...anything good to do out there??

wow, I used to work in brussels & antwerp back in 1981!! loved it! but so much has changed since I've been there. I remember the cadillac bar (belgium owned american great steaks shipped in!) great int'l spot not far from the grand place. definitely try belgium waffles, dark chocolates better than milk, mussels is famous there also, mannekin pis at the grand place just to take a picture, stella artois (not like what we get here). I agree, train ride to london, amsterdam, paris. but if you can get to stendker's discus hatchery - largest in europe - that would be kool - if you like discus. but it's a long trip. It's all about the FOOD! other countries would be great but train ride is long! on time though!! bullets go either paris or london! have a great time!
get a train ride to london for sure, lots of good fish stuff there, get to enfield (just outside london), theres a road with 8+ lfs within a mile including one which i would say is the best in the uk if a little expensive, heres the stocklist http://www.tropicalfishfinder.co.uk/stores_products.asp?store=54&type=Fish
Belgium is great! sort of the same thing as amsterdam but without the tourists find a club called gothica/heretica/something (someone please confirm this) but they have 2004 different sorts of beer (go nuts there! don't hesitate to try a say mango beer) ! check out the festival scene aswell! if you are lucky you may just time the graspop metal meeting (great festival)..
increadibly chill people, babes 6/10, understanding english 4/10, helpfulness 10/10 (for europe).. all in all a great city with very nice people!
