Nice, looks overstocked though, i would get rid of some of the fish, like the gars, but none of the Polypterus.
What are you using as filteration.

Not gonna happen. I'm going JDM style. Getting rid of them and making them look empty will only turn my tank into disaster as they will have selected targets and will start killing each other one by one. Done that before, didn't like the result as I lost a lot of fish when they all gang up on the slowest fish. Not many hobbyist are doing JDM style and keeping multiple aggressive fish that's why they don't have a clue on how to prevent them from killing one another. That's why you keep hearing stories that "Oh my fish killed my other fish", "Oh my fish won't stop chasing my other fish and it's stressing it out.". All those story you hear blah blah blah.... It's because they are only keeping a few of them in one tank. Doing an overstocked tank or JDM will help prevent that from happening. It's stop them from looking for potential target. You may not disagree with me and I know you don't like overstock tank but this works for me. I don't like fallowing what people telling me that overstock is not good. As long as the filtration is excellent, water quality is always at its best, food for the fish are always highly nutritious and the fish is healthy, then it should be fine. In fact I see more people with aggressive comm tank that are kept in minimum stocks and ended up dying than JDM style.

I 55g sump and 3x FX5. The sump is mainly for beneficial bacteria and the FX5 are to clear out the debris.

Jakob, the tank is obviously overstocked. It's like that on purpose. :)

I think it's funny how many people will tell you your tank is overstocked, that you need to lose some fish, you need to upgrade, etc. Just look at the tank they are showing you. If you like it, great. If not, it's usually no big deal. There's no need to play Aquarium Monitor 24/7 if the person knows what they are doing. ;)

I, personally, "get it" and really like your tank, Earl.
