YOu really wont need the Cast net. THere arent many open populations of Shiners to catch...you're better off buying them. As for the P. bass, there are quite a few places to catch...and I can just about guarantee your catching peas with shiners...along with Jaguar and perhaps Oscars. Depending on the Area. I say keep it simple. One Rod and the supplies needed for that one rod. Minnow trap - unless you expect to leave the trap overnight and check on it the next day...you're just wasting time. As far as wanting "Monos" there is no such thing down here...lol They are all Hybrids, and will incline to Ocellaris or mono...but hybrids none the less...usually the Mono Looking coloration is what you see when they are breeding, at which point you will need an xrap or something like to piss them off into biting. PM me if you want to meet up and go fishing...
xrap? I dont know what part we are going to but depending on what i catch we might leave that day. we are leaving on saturday and maybe comming home sunday. but if i catch some on saturday we will leave. I'm leaving the minnow trap in all night if we stay though.
