Dan / Trent - thanks for the tips. i'm going to skip on the skiing and snowboarding. i do intend to do some nature / sight seeing activities pending weather conditions. i want to go drive along the coast for at least a good part of the day. i would also like to see mount hood if possible. probably would be a bit ambitious to drive right up to mount hood given the current weather conditions, but i'll see what is reasonable.

i guess i honestly don't mind just chilling out. work's pretty much over for this year and i want to just get some R&R and not think about things at the office.

Washington is the only state that you can not drink in strip clubs???? Total BS....

take a drive out to MT hood.. ski at timberline.. check out hood river...
there is also a very cool damn on the colombia i believe with fish ladders and you can see all the big salmon and trout swimming up the ladder (but that was in the summer) doubt they are swimming now...
