  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Been there many times too. I won't hurt your feelings though. But I will say, there is no comparison.
im sorry but IMO portland is one of the most boring cities ive ever lived in. I guess it could be a nice place if u visit for a short time. But hey everyone is entitled to their own opinion

Hey! I might be going there too later this month, but I might be doing a west coast tour with a Chef from Thailand...all work and no play :(

Thanks for the input all, a friend and I will be taking a train up on the 23rd and flying back down he 28th...

So no major aquariums or anything like that hu? Any other points of interest there?

Yes, I know I could look all this up on the net but its nice to get a real persons perspective and opinion.

I agree that I wouldn't want to live there, (mainly bc of the weather) but it's a great vacation spot for the whole family. Young and old. I went to the Oregon Zoo twice last year. I've seen better, but I wouldn't pass up a chance to go back. I would definitely recommend it.

I live 4 hours from Portland :)

I live two. So there.

As already mentioned, The Wet Spot and the Cichlid Exchange are probably the best stores.

Besides that, there are always the strip clubs and microbrewerys!
