NEW YORK
Ok so this is whats in my 75 gallon. Please dont tell me my tank is overstocked cuz i know once all the fish are full grown they will need more room. I got it covered I have a 125 for when i move into a bigger place which will happen within the next year. My fish are all small and i have no problems with my levels or aggression. I want people to suggest a fish that isnt too fast a grower. all fish i have are growing very slowly and i like it that way. I've been doing this for quite some time so i do know what im doing to some respect. I've only had 3 fish die on my in 5 years and that was in the first 2 years i started this hobby. So pic my next fish or make a suggestion. I want something with color or something that is a top dweller...

My stocklist

1 ropefish
2 senegals
1 palmas
1 angelfish
1 turguoise severum
1 gold severum
1 small growing pleco
1 jewel cichlid
1 firemouth

Why are you getting a new fish if you don't know what you want? How about you wait unt A) you have a bigger tank and B) there is a specific fish you want?

once again forget about the tank size as that will not be a problem in the future. I always ask for suggestions from fellow hobbyist. Why com on and respond with something im not asking a response for. Just suggest something or leave the thread

maybe a small one. i would like a predatory fish but i dont want something that will kill all my other fish. maybe a ABF

I agree with andyjs, and it may help digging through MFK.com, there are lots and lots of fish you could have, they're also divided into different sections. Eversince you're not worrying about the tank size, why not just pick one from what you like and getting a young one of that species, that way giving you sometimes before moving into larger tank.
So many people asking what type of fish they should keep, but the concern is even when we tell you which one to keep, it may not be the fish you wanna keep. And you may end up trading that fish away.
I personally would separates those cichlids you have from the polys as well as the plecos. Polys are better off on their own. Have a look at the Ancient Fish forums, it may also give you ideas on setting up your future tank.

since tank size isnt an issue i highly suggest an arapaima.

arapaima will out grow that tank before you know it, and will eat anything they can fit in their mouth.
