well i called one of my lfs asking if they had any silvers...been looking for one for a while and havent had any luck...1 lfs i called told me they have 2 gold 4-6 inch aro's...now im not a arowana expert by any means but never heard of a gold???...is this a silver??...are they just calling it another name???...is it a jardini???...im lost...im going to go see them today when i get out of work but want to know some more before i go...any info on the subject would be greatly apreciated...thank u..

only gold aros are asain aros. some lfs like to call their Jardinis gold just to get newbies to pay more $$.
Chances are it's an australian arowana if it's reasonably priced like $40-65 depending on size from 3 1/2"-5"
thats what im figuring...obviously there is not going to be any asian golds being sold in florida...unless something really crooked is going on...maybe they are jardini's...but i asked them very clearly if they were jar's and they said "no they are gold"...i just stayed kinda stumped and said ok ill see u guys later
jars are illegal in fl...only thing legal are silvers...i think blacks are even illegal..,but yea sounds like something fishy
lol...yea i was hoping that someone would get it...lol...so im pretty sure its a silver...called back and spoke to someone again...they want 20 bucks for him...might go check him out
