"Gold" Clown question.......

How rare is a Gold Clown Knife and how much would you pay for a 6 incher???

i have two now about 28 inches

picked them up around 14 inches $30 each

They're not too rare. I've seen them for maybe $5-$10 more than a regular CK.

And at 6"...maybe $15-$20

My LFS has em' for $25 @ 6". Kinda high but they are the best store around here, very healthy fish and extremely clean store.


Do they come around often near where you live?

First time I've seen them here in almost a year.

Yeah, I bought my 15" Gold CK for $75. I MAY have over paid, but he is an indiscriminate garbage disposal, growing well, one of the friendliest fish I own, and the money went to one of my favorite lfs, who takes excellent care of us. He came home because he had a cool personality, and was not just a random monster in the making... I wasn't going to let him go. And, I figured what I spend a month to feed him, and it doesn't seem like that big of deal anymore.
