No cross, these are a gold variant. There are four current color morphs, wild type, blue, gold and platinum. Platinum being the expression of both recessive genes for blue and gold in one fish.

Do you have pictures of the platinum variant? I am unfamiliar.

Typically in aquaria the term "platinum" is used to describe an individual with Leucism (referred to as "snow white" frequently to describe fish and herps)

This is one of mine, he's a little light due to this being my grow out tank with no substrate. If you look for yankeejack he has a thread about breeding them.
