awesome. this helps me. I thought mine were taking forever to grow. I'm used to Oscar growth. Which is ridiculously fast. These Jags grow a lot slower than the Oscars I have had.
But they are growing the same rate as yours, so I am just realizing i'm super impatient

They look so cute, didn't these fish used to be common but grew out of style a while ago? Now hopefully they are becoming more popular, because they are beautiful fish!!

Honestly i hadnt even heard of gold jags till Cichlidmayhem showed his pair. I had even heard of the rare xanthic ones before these.
And yeah it would seem theyre growing slow but i did get them at fingernail size two months ago. So not that bad. I wish i could give them more water changes but ive been sick and in and out of hospitals those two months. My fishies have suffered :(

Month later were at 2" solid. Some 2.5" the gold sheen is amazing. Took some pics with flash so you guys can appreciate that gold. Sorry theyre blurry. Gonna move them to a 120 this week.

Thanks guys. Hopefully they get even nicer now when moved to the 120 all by them selves. Its hard to let go of these guys yet as i want to ensure a pair for myself ;)
