Compare a common clown to a gold clown, and you can see an immediate difference.

Hope you can send a photo taken with flash, as this kinda looks like a regular CK. I have 2 regular CK's myself, and they looked like this (light-colored) but grew up to be steel-gray 20-inchers.

As stated this particular one died while I was away. He has been replaced.

This is without question a golden clown knife. Also, using a flash will bleach the color of the fish. I never use a flash, as this will often make identification more difficult.
