Gold or black wolf?

Nice looking gold wolf! Glad wifey was able to help with ur fish.
 
The best my will do is text me when a box is outside but that’s as far as it goes.

Lol, she isn't happy about it but does help. I wish she had some interest in fish tbh, she barely tolerates my 5 tanks and boa constrictor:-)

He is an absolute chunk, he is about 9.5" but twice the girth of the 9" mala.

He looks to have an old battle scar, probably a pirahna bite imo, looks to be very old and healed.
Might help me name him....

So the mala has suddenly decided he is not a pet log and is actively swimming mid water facing the gold head on with aggressive gill flares... Gonna need to watch these closely I think.

Yep mala is not happy, just flaring ATM tho, gold seems indifferent to him but the mala is like a different fish... Oddly very aware it's another wolf although completely different looking imo.

Usually how it goes lol they don't like new comers in general ime. Give them some time to settle. May have to try to remove the mala for a little and then add it back. And yes golds are fat like curus lol

Ah yours has it, I searched the Google images and couldn't see it on others thanks for that.
I will give em a day, if it hasn't calmed i will move the mala out for a week or two then re introduce.
I wasn't ready for how fat he is lol, hope he puts on size, i mailed Jef rapps and he confirmed he was eating pellets and just about anything in his care.
