gold saum scale pattern??

They all look like that as juvies - I've never really payed attention to it, but what's been posted of adults is pretty much the standard...

I have noticed that in a lot of Saums.Some much worse than others.It seems to be normal to some extent.Here's a pic of my guy (RIP) He had a reasonably straight alignment of the scales.I have been on the look out for a new Saum since I lost this guy but have yet to find anything of quality.Scale alignment is one of the qualities I look for.

mine probably did have unaligned scales when it was little.
it was always ugle horrible fish.,
